At age 19 Lauren Maillian started her first business, Sugarleaf Vineyards, growing superior wine quality grapes, which then turned in to a winery. By 2012, her business was acquired and she was ready for her next big endeavor as an entrepreneur. She then started Luxury Market Branding and became heavily involved in technology and the venture and startup industries as an advisor and investor. She launched Gen Y Capital to invest in early stage consumer technology companies. You’ll now see Lauren on the TV series Quit Your Day Job in which aspiring millennial entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to her and a panel of angel investors.
